Newsletters give you the opportunity to connect with your audience in an authentic and human dialogue. It is the ideal venue for introducing your staff – provide a face to the name your clients have interacted with over the years.

 

#1. It’s perfect for sharing human interest stories about your experience of the years – fun or heartwarming pieces for a successful newsletter.

 

#2. Acknowledging your clients and even spotlighting their service, event or business in your newsletter is great for generating client loyalty.

 

#3. Add a blurb or a teaser about your business blog – it helps generate traffic, especially if you provide helpful information.

 

#4. In addition the relationship building blocks of a newsletter, you can add value with special promotions.

 

#5. Your newsletter can highlight a new service or product that you recently added.

 

#6. Has your business won any awards? A newsletter is perfect for announcing the victory – it helps to instill a sense of trust and validates your customers for turning to you for their needs.

#7. Plan out the next edition of your newsletter and add a sneak preview. Build anticipation. This also allows you to make a promise to your reader and follow through on that promise - another way to build confidence with your audience.

 

You’ve got your content laid out and you are ready to proceed. What should you keep in mind when compiling it all together?

 

#8. Thought provoking title – each edition to your newsletter will have some sort of theme or focus. Create something that causes your reader to pause and open the leafy pages.
